in our efforts to end the discrimination against girls in the education system, we have managed to create a system that fails boys to an even higher level than it originally failed girls.

This should not be a zero sum game. Can we acknowledge that if we help boys, this does not mean we are harming girls?

No matter how much we fight it, can we finally admit that boys and girls have different needs? I hope we can and fear that we won't.

When I am appointed monarch for a day (month?) the first thing I will do is separate schools by gender. Both genders would benefit.

But this would mean we are getting serious about education.
