I agree with you on these points. Yes, divorce is now an option for women who were trapped 30 years ago.

I do not have any friends who view themselves as the king in the castle. (I know men like this do exist. I cannot understand why someone would marry these men) All of my friends view their wife as a partner. Me especially. My wife is much smarter than I am and I would not consider making an important decision without talking with her.
