I have 40 years teaching high school and have some thoughts on this.

No name makes your child special.

You child will make him/herself special with actions.

Many times, on the first day of school, I've seen a kid (of all ethnicities) cringe. Because some parent had given him/her a name nobody could pronounce.

Do your child a favor. Give him/her a name that works easily in public, at school, at work.

Put that special name as the middle name. And the kid can use it as an adult as s/he sees fit.
