Man here. Such bullshit that you have to go to court, pay your own money for many years when you are 100% in the right.

Here in the US labor laws are totally skewed to favor business.

Many times, even if there is a fine, it is still worth their while to cheat female employees out of what they should be paid.

My wife is a lawyer and she overheard her boss and another exec discussing raises. My wife gets "exceeds expectations" on everything. And her asswipe boss said "no raise for her. She's good."

She immediately started looking for a new job and when she left, asswipe actually cried. That is how much he depended on her to make himself look good.

This will never change until it really HURTS business to cheat women. Until the fines are so bad. Until top execs get fired without that giant severance package.

So we should not hold our breath.
