Well expressed, Michele. I have 40 years teaching. I am strongly considering not going back this year. And I love most aspects of teaching. I have always felt that it was my calling.

I started a job selling mattresses. So far, it has been great!

I have not had to deal with any of the usual BS that you described.

Our country says that it values teachers. But I believe my eyes a lot more than my ears. And my eyes are telling me that we are last on the list.
